Pulau Upeh, the tiny island off the coast of the city, will be redeveloped and named D’Upeh Spa and Wellness hub.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the tiny island had the potential to be another top tourism product for Melaka.
“We will renovate the abandoned chalets and create a man-made beach to make it more attractive,” he said, adding that they would focus on health tourism at D’Upeh.
